Shri Retreats was born from 25 years of friendship and a shared dream: to create something magical, filled with love and moments that last. The idea was simple — share the magic of this island and build a dreamy experience for people who love nature, adventure, fun, and yoga.

Piibe has called Corfu home for seven summers now, and after years working across different corners of the island's tourism field, she's quite literally explored almost every corner of it too. Maria brings her background in yoga and design, grounding it all and giving it depth and shape.

Together, we're launching our first Shri retreat: Solar Swim — magical days on a beautiful island, spent exactly the way we'd plan a dream trip for the people we love most.

I lead every practice on the retreat, from the grounding opening circle on day 1 to the integrative final session on the last day. My teaching meets people where they are, whether you've practiced for years or you're stepping onto the mat for the first time.

Surprisingly, Corfu was never on my bucket list. I ended up here quite randomly, to be honest — I'd sent my CV to work at a spa, and somehow the job interview ended with one question: "Can you be in Corfu in a week?" So I was. I landed over the green mountains of Corfu, completely shocked at how different it looked from the other Greek islands I'd been to. Corfu truly is a nature paradise — so green, with the perfect mix of mountains and stunning beaches.

Seven summers working here, across different corners of tourism, have given me the pleasure of discovering the most incredible hidden beaches, mountain villages, and truly traditional family-run tavernas. I love it here, and I'm genuinely grateful to call this green paradise home.

In the retreat context, I'm the one making sure everything runs smoothly and that you see the places that will make you want to come back to Corfu, again and again.
